Grapefruit Seed Extract

There are many benefits to grapefruit seed extract. I would suggest getting the liquid concentrate such as this one: https://a.co/d/b2v4rgp. However the supplement use should be customized to the individual as this product may counteract statins, calcium channel blockers, blood thinners, etc. so it’s best to consult with your physician before using this product orally.

GFSE has been shown to fight candida, which is a fungal infection that occurs in and around the mouth. Some of the other uses of GFSE are:

1.     Throat gargle

2.     Skin wounds

3.     Ear drops

4.     Mouthwash

5.     Nasal/sinus wash

6.     Relieves athletes foot

7.     Fungal infections

8.     Balances the gut

If you get the product shown above, you can mix 10 drops into water however it can be very bitter so tread carefully. GFSO can also deplete normal “good” bacteria in the gut so avoid using this everyday. It’s been recommended to use a probiotic supplement before using GFSE if you take it for more than 3 days in a row. I have found that one day a week or one day every two weeks seems to work well.

You can also use GFSE around the house

1.     In laundry to kill off fungi and bacteria simply add 10-15 drops to the load

2.     In humidifiers to prevent algae growth

3.     Homemade disinfectant: similar to vinegar you can mix GFSE with water to disinfect around home

4.     Carpet cleaner: kills pathogenic organisms

5.     Respiratory infections: put in a nebulizer
